Comments: Very enjoyable walk through some extremely interesting countryside and villages. Found way marking to be generally poor, however route easily navigable with aid of OS map. Transportation links ok.

Comments: Well that was a smashing walk. I had 12 people in the end make the walk, we started at 6am from Thorne and cracked on at approx. 4.5mph until it got dark at about 6pm (we had reached the village hall in Hatfield Woodhouse) We followed the path pretty ridged apart from the visit to Fishlake and Waterside (the council have the Jubilee bridge out of action again) I amended the route to make it still a 50 so all were happy. We finished in 16:45hrs including stops
I have given out all certs who turned up and can confirm: Aaron Hookway is 117 Annabel Wood is 119 Duncan Whittall is 120 Frank Tonge is 121 Hilary Farren is 122 Julie Welch (who happens to be the editor for our national magazine ‘Strider’) is 123 Luke Bradley is 124 Nigel Bowler is 125 Peter Poppy is 127 Jamal Ashley is 128 Stuart Livingstone is 129 Sandy Gee (who happens to be treasurer for the national committee of the LDWA) is 130

Comments: Thanks to the webmaster for doing the recent upgrade to the website. I have walked the whole route so hopefully the directions are OK. Any suggested improvements to the route description would be welcome. has anybody got accurate mileages for each section? Will do some more way-marking later in the year. Ian
